It's as these flowers are a symphony of friends, all singing of light and joy. These past few years with economic problems, some undefined learning problem for my kiddo and stress of finding a way to share my voice while supporting us, friends and family were there. Helen Keller said it in a way that knocked off my socks: "Walking with a friend in the dark is better than walking alone in the light."
And these flowers shot up in darkness into light. So I have to thank everyone who listened and was there for us. My kiddo has a new school which has already brought her great joy. Her stress has lessened.
What flowers have to teach us when we fall down that rabbit hole. Light, love and joy are absolutes. They
are God's gifts to us.
I love this verse from the Quran from 24:35, the Ayat an-Nur, "The Light Verse."
"Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The parable of His light is as if there were a niche and within it a lamp: the lamp enclosed in glass: the glass as it were a brilliant star: lit from a blessed tree, an olive, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil is well-nigh luminous, though fire scarce touched it: Light upon Light!"
Light upon Light!
These white bells are surely that, a symphony of glorious light.
