There's nothing I love as much as honeysuckle. I wait for its sweet
smell. And Tender little flowers that bloom wildly along our hedges.
Once it starts growing it's hard to stop. It's like when we reach out to
love one another. I remember once I suggested we plant honeysuckle. I
remember my father aghast because honeysuckle is hard to control. But
isn't that the point? Love is destined to grow and envelop all of us.
It's hard to control

Is not our main purpose to give joy to others? I cannot but enjoy the
beauty and poignancy of this flower which grew in the garden at my daughter's school. It is
at once closed but with elegant leaves shooting out like long beautiful
bells of joy.

What joy!
I remember sitting in math class yearning for the green grass outside
and loving geometry. I didn't know then that geometry was everywhere!

| Forgiveness |
Forgiveness - that sweet interplay between shadow and light. Where your
mom forgives you by not even mentioning your transgression. It's that
moment when you decide to be your best. Forgiveness is when she lets you
know it's your birthright to shine.

| The Silk of Life |
|
The Silk of Life reminds me how we need both the comfort of darkness
and the soft light, like ying and yang. We rest in the dark and feel the
mystery of life, the darkness where we regenerate and prepare to grow.
And we Encircling Mystery is mystery of the interplay of light and
shadow and the reminder that our lives and miracles are neverending.
While we can gently and smoothly blossom into the light. We need both
the dark and light to be whole and shine.
